Police: Cab robber takes cash, property, cab

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Metro police are looking for the man who robbed a cab driver of cash and property before driving off with his cab.

Police said that on Tuesday, the suspect entered the cab from a casino in the area of Flamingo Road and I-15, directing the driver to Lake Mead Boulevard and Rancho Drive.

Once there, the suspect produced a weapon, robbing the driver. Police later located the stolen cab in the area of Rancho and Vegas Drive.

No injuries were reported in the robbery.

The suspect is described as between 30 and 40 years old, 6' and approximately 160 pounds with a brown goatee and brown eyes.
