LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A Las Vegas robbery suspect climbed over a counter and confronted convenience store employees with a gun during a hold-up last week.

According to Las Vegas Metro police, the hold-up happened in the area of Sahara Avenue and Lamb Boulevard about 6:20 a.m. on Jan. 6.

Police said the suspect approached the counter, climbed over and pointed a handgun at employees while demanding money.

After he was given cash, he fled on foot, police said.

The suspect was described as a black man in his early 20s, 5'5" with a medium build. Police said he was last seen wearing a black and orange knit cap with a Denver Broncos emblem, gray varsity type jacket with black leather sleeves, blue jeans and tennis shoes.

Police urge anyone with information on the incident to contact Metro's Robbery Section at 702-828-3591 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
