PAHRUMP, NV (FOX5) -

Authorities in Pahrump arrested more than a dozen people in connection to a theft and narcotics ring.

The Nye County Sheriff's Department said at least four of the people arrested were observed pawning televisions that were believed to be stolen from the town's Walmart.

The sheriff's department said an executed warrant of three of the suspects' homes on Jan. 13 came up with evidence of stolen property, as well as some amounts of heroin, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

In addition, two suspects were attempting to steal electronics at the Walmart on Jan. 14 but abandoned the item when they were seen by workers, NCSO said.

One of the suspects was arrested shortly after, while a second was still on the loose, deputies said.

The sheriff's department said a search of phones seized from the suspects netted addition suspects. Investigators said all suspects were believed to be under the influence of a controlled substance at the time of their arrests.

The sheriff's office is also working with Las Vegas Metro police to look into the possibility of suspects stealing from Walmart locations in the adjoining city.

The following suspects were arrested by Nye County Sheriff's deputies in connection to this investigation:

  • Rikki Loraine Lavender, 29;
  • Alora Elizabeth Hewitt, 18;
  • Krickett Marjene Egan, 38;
  • Constantino Cardenas Jr, 23;
  • Michelle Orton, 24;
  • Elliot Keyes, 19;
  • Jason Nicholson, 25;
  • Chenoa Menendez, 31;
  • Austin Shane Satter, 21;
  • Danielle Cohn, 20;
  • Colton Walker, 22;
  • Allison Hewitt, 20;
  • Michelle Schulz, 21.

Each suspect in the group was charged with counts ranging from being under the influence of a controlled substance to burglary.

In addition, 19-year-old Rikki Wells was still being sought for the Jan. 14 attempted theft at the Pahrump Walmart.

Authorities urge people with information on the case to call 775-751-7000 or e-mail ncso_detectives@co.nye.nv.us.
