NYE crackdown nets drunk drivers, cell phone violators

NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -

The city of North Las Vegas on Tuesday released the results of its New Year's Eve "Joining Forces" traffic crackdown. The safety event netted arrests and numerous citations.

The results are as follows:

4 – DUI arrests

4 – seatbelt/child restraint violations

23 – speeding violations

19 – red light violations

2 – cell phone violations

20 – driver's license violations

37 – registration/ insurance violations

32 - other violations

48 – warnings issued

In addition to the traffic arrests and citations, police made two narcotics-related arrests.
