LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

What should the wave pool at the soon-to-be-opened Wet ‘n' Wild Las Vegas be called?

On Tuesday, the choices were narrowed to five possibilities:

  • Cactus Curl
  • Mojave Monsoon
  • Neon Beach
  • The Ragin' Rebel
  • Red Rock Bay

You can help pick the winning contest entry by visiting the Wave Pool Name Finalists photo album on Facebook and "Liking" the picture with your favorite name. Voting will be over on Jan. 19 with the winner to be announced the following day.

"The community response to name our wave pool has been tremendous," said Trevor Wilson, Wet 'n' Wild Las Vegas' director of marketing. "More than 1,400 names were submitted. It's been so fun to see everyone's creativity and the excitement and passion they have for Wet 'n' Wild Las Vegas."

Wet ‘n' Wild Las Vegas, located at 7055 S. Fort Apache Rd. near I-215 and Sunset Road, is set to open Memorial Day weekend.
