Phoenix police have caught a suspect involved in a hostage situation at a Los Angeles clothing store.

Phoenix police spokesman Sgt. Steve Martos said LAPD detectives informed police over the weekend about a layover at a Greyhound bus station in Phoenix where one of the suspects may be.

Martos said officers responded to the location Saturday night and, after a struggle, the suspect was tased and taken into custody at the county jail.

LAPD detectives came to Phoenix and interviewed Raymond Sherman.

Two men and two women were also arrested over the weekend in Southern California.

The men are being held for robbery and the women are being held as accessories after the fact.

One employee was stabbed and another was sexually assaulted Friday in the takeover holdup at a Nordstrom Rack store in a mall near Los Angeles International Airport.

The three-hour standoff ended with a SWAT team rushing into the store and rescuing workers. The robbers had fled.
