LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
One person was killed following a wreck involving a semi-tractor trailer and a sedan on Interstate 15.
Nevada Highway Patrol reported the incident about 6:22 a.m. Monday on the southbound I-15 at Lamb Boulevard.
Troopers said the driver of the Buick car in the wreck died. There was no word of other injuries.
Authorities did not say what led to the incident.
FOX5's Chris Brown said delays were expected following the accident on both flows of the interstate. He suggested motorists take Las Vegas Boulevard to drive around the back-ups.
NHP also said southbound traffic approaching the accident was being diverted on to the North 215 Beltway.
