The Southern Nevada Cannabis Operation and Regional Enforcement (SCORE) team has scored the biggest residential marijuana bust in the multi-jurisdictional task force's history.

SCORE, made up of police officers from Las Vegas and Henderson as well as DEA agents, served a search warrant at a house on Trickling Stream Circle near Fort Apache and Spring Mountain roads on the west side of the valley at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Officers were overcome by an unknown irritant, evacuated the house and sent a robot in to assess the scene. Officers then put HAZMAT suits on and re-entered the residence.

In all, SCORE members seized 1,481 marijuana plants with an estimated street value of roughly $4.5 million. Officers also seized $29,593 in cash.

Police were tipped off about the house from a neighbor.

Two suspects, who have yet to be identified by name, were arrested as they attempted to flee the house. They face a number of charges, including maintaining a house for the sale of narcotics and possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.

Officers said the suspects were stealing power from neighbors and had rewired the house to accommodate the grow operation. The house contained a large number of power cords and large rooms had been divided into smaller rooms with plywood. Officers found plants in every room of the house except for the kitchen and front living room.

This is the third indoor marijuana grow house discovered so far in 2013.
