LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) attracts a lot of VIP visitors, and on Thursday Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval was among them.

Celebrities such as 50 Cent and Snooki have been spotted on the convention floor but Sandoval was the biggest star on Thursday, learning about new technology and what it might offer our state.

Sandoval took time to explore several exhibits, checking out the latest TV sets, computers and even a mobile health station that functions like a computerized doctor.

In all, Sandoval spent about two hours at CES.

It's estimated that roughly 150,000 people are in town for CES. With technology a $200 billion a year industry in the United States, Sandoval is looking for ways to integrate that technology into state operations and perhaps lure more business here.
