Police: Suspect may have chased victim with ax

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A man suspected of chasing a person with an ax barricaded himself in an apartment on the valley's east side Thursday morning.

Las Vegas Metro police said the victim ran to a safe location while the suspect entered an apartment on Swenson Street near Flamingo Road.

Police said the man surrendered to police at around 9:30 a.m. No injuries have been reported.
