Authorities said a passenger of a pick-up truck died after it rolled over on U.S. 93 northeast of the Las Vegas valley.
According to Nevada Highway Patrol, a 2001 GMC Sierra approached a curve on the northbound highway at Mile Marker 53 in Lincoln County at about 6 p.m. Sunday, when it traveled off the east side of the road.
The driver steered the pick-up to the left, causing it to rotate counterclockwise across the highway and off the west side of the roadway, NHP said.
The truck overturned, ejecting the male driver, a female passenger and a male passenger, according to troopers.
The male passenger, 20-year-old Seth David Albrecht of Tooele, Utah, died at the scene, while the 20-year-old driver and the 20-year-old woman in the vehicle were transported to University Medical Center. They were last listed in critical condition, authorities said.
NHP said all occupants in the vehicle were not wearing seat belts.
