Forecast: Scattered showers Saturday and Sunday

Posted: Updated:
(Toledo News Now) -

A really pleasant start. Not feeling the mugginess out there this Friday. Just a cool and comfortable start to the day with lows dipping into the upper 50s before sunrise and highs expected in the low to middle 80s this afternoon.
Overall, a dry and partly cloudy day. Slightly warmer than yesterday with temperatures in the middle 70s by noon, reaching 82 degrees later today, just before dinnertime.
A change in the wind direction will dictate the next few days as hot and humid conditions return.
Tonight, that pattern begins with a more easterly wind shifting south. We'll start to usher in warmer air as we lead into the holiday weekend with mild temperatures overnight in the low 60s and highs all weekend long expected in the middle 80s (at least).
The warmer surge of air comes along with thunderstorm chances. Greatest chances arrive late Saturday, Sunday afternoon and into Labor Day.
