LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Two men were arrested after an apparent brawl left another dead in east Las Vegas on Monday.

According to Las Vegas Metro police, Genaro Padilla, Jr., 30, and Kenneth Glosson, 56, were taken into custody after a man was found stabbed and beaten on a sidewalk in the 700 block of E. Twain Avenue.

Officers were called to the area about 5:40 p.m. on a reported beating, Metro said.

A victim, who was found by police, was transported to Sunrise Medical Center Trauma, where he was pronounced dead.

An investigation led officers to Glosson and Padilla, whom, police say, was working as a clerk at a nearby store.

Police believe the alleged altercation started at the store before the victim was found.

The two men were booked into the Clark County Detention Center, each with a count of first degree murder with a deadly weapon.

The Clark County Coroner's office is expected to release the victim's name and cause of death.

Police were urging people who saw what happened Monday to contact the department's Homicide Section at 702-828-3521 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
