LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Las Vegas Wranglers goaltender Mark Owuya, on loan from the Toronto Maple Leafs since December, is headed to the AHL's Toronto Marlies.

The reassignment was announced on Monday. The 23-year-old Swede went 3-3-0 with the Wranglers, going undefeated in his first three starts.

The 6'2", 207-pound Owuya boasts a 2.97 goals-against average and a 0.904 save percentage in his time with the Wranglers. The native of Stockholm signed a two-year entry level contract with the Maple Leafs in 2011 following four seasons in Sweden.

The Wranglers have a trio of road games to tackle before returning to Orleans Arena on Saturday, Jan. 19 to take on the Colorado Eagles. The team will sport 10th "FANniversary" jerseys featuring photos of 10-year season ticket holders for the game.

The jerseys will be auctioned off following the game with the proceeds benefiting Children's Hospital of Nevada at UMC.
