LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Lanes of Sahara Avenue in west Las Vegas was blocked after a collision involving a person on a wheelchair and a semi-truck.
Las Vegas Metro police reported the incident on Sahara and Valley View Boulevard about 9:42 a.m. Thursday.
Police did not specify what led to the collision.
The person in the wheelchair was transported to University Medical Center Trauma with substantial injuries, according to Metro.
Police said the accident shut down eastbound lanes of Sahara. There were no other injuries reported.
