LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Metro police are looking for the man who robbed a business on Vegas Drive near Jones Boulevard, making off with a cash register.
Police said that at around 10:10 p.m. on Dec. 18, a man entered the business, purchased a beer and exited the business.
A short time later, he returned claiming he wanted to exchange the beer he had purchased for another one. It was then that he lunged over the counter, grabbing the entire cash register.
The clerk struggled with the suspect, but that suspect was able to overpower the clerk and fled the store with the cash register. The employee was injured during the robbery.
The suspect is described as between 5'10" and 6', 160-180 pounds and between 35 and 45 years old. He was wearing a winter bomber hat, gray jacket, black pants a black glove on his left hand and black and white shoes.
