An Olive Garden restaurant in Henderson was evacuated on Thursday afternoon when the building filled with smoke.
It happened at around 2 p.m. at the location on Sunset Road near Green Valley Parkway.
Employees in the kitchen noticed smoke coming from a utilities area. The building was evacuated, customers abandoning their meals.
"Our units arrive on scene and found a lot of smoke in the backroom. The fire was apparently concealed up in the wall space and up in the attic space, so our crews made some entry and made access through the roof area to extinguish the fire," said Henderson Fire Chief Steve Goble.
Investigators are still working to determine what caused the fire. Although the restaurant was full, no injuries were reported.
