It's something most of us take for granted, but without one local organization thousands of teens in our area would be without a place to call home for the holidays.
Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth takes kids off the streets and offers them a wide variety of services, from counseling services to food and clothing.
The nonprofit organization is asking for donations to continue serving these teens in need after the holiday season. Clothes, toiletries, gift cards to fast food restaurants and grocery stores are just a few of the items they're accepting.
You can drop off donations at the William Fry Drop in Center which is located at 4981 Shirley St. - across from Thomas and Mack. The hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
