A pedestrian was hit and killed in Henderson on Wednesday evening.
It happened on Sunset Road and Marks Street just after 6:30 p.m.
Nevada Highway Patrol troopers on the scene told FOX5 the pedestrian was crossing Sunset outside of the crosswalk and was not paying attention to oncoming traffic.
The driver told troopers he did not see the pedestrian until it was too late.
Troopers said the driver is not in the wrong.
