A single-wide mobile home went up in flames early on Monday morning, the Clark County Fire Department reported.
Firefighters said the blaze was reported just before 2 a.m. on College Circle near Lake Mead Boulevard and Mt. Hood Street.
Following a 911 call, a Metro officer reported seeing fire coming from the home. When firefighters arrived, they found the mobile home fully engulfed in fire. They worked quickly to contain the blaze and kept it from spreading to nearby vehicles and other exposed structures near the home.
A total of nine units from Clark County Fire, Las Vegas Fire and North Las Vegas Fire responded to the call.
No one was home when the fire broke out and there were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damage is estimated at $8,000.
