LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Last-minute holiday shoppers are running out of time to finish their Christmas lists. All weekend, shopping procrastinators packed stores looking for the perfect presents.
Some stores like Kohl's and Macy's stayed open around the clock all weekend to give last-second shoppers more time. Those stores and malls around the valley close at 6 p.m. on Monday.
James Jeffrey says he waited so long to find a present for his girlfriend because some stores offer bigger discounts closer to Christmas. His little brother, who finished his shopping weeks ago, says that's just an excuse. "I have all mine done. I'm not a procrastinator like some people," Jonathan Johnson said about his brother.
The National Retail Federation predicts holiday sales to be higher this year than in 2011.
