Vegas ProSoccer Challenge pits MLS powers - FOX5 Vegas - KVVU

Two of Major League Soccer's rising teams are set to do battle on the pitch at Sam Boyd Stadium on Friday night.
Chivas USA and the Colorado Rapids comprise the inaugural matchup in the Las Vegas ProSoccer Challenge.
The matchup is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
The venue played host to a matchup between Spanish club Real Madrid and Mexican team Santos Laguna in August.
Organizers said the game will come in the midst of the scheduled youth international soccer showcase, Las Vegas Mayor's Cup.
The Rapids also make a return trip to Las Vegas after playing in exhibition matchups in 2003 and 2007.
Tickets start at $20 with a special youth rate of $10 for children, ages 3 to 14. Tickets are available at unlvtickets.com.
