‘Extreme Thing’ festival to feature bands, competitions

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Now in its 18th year, the Extreme Thing Sports & Music Festival is coming to Desert Breeze Skate Park on March 30.

This year the festival will feature professional BMX and amateur skate competitions as well as bands including New Found Glory, Sleeping with Sirens, Comeback Kid and many more.

Tickets are $17 in advance and $20 the day of the show. A VIP package is available for $30.

Attendees may bring one unopened bottle into the festival along with a still camera and sunscreen. ATMs will be available at the park and food and beverages will be available for purchase. Alcohol will not be sold.

Desert Breeze Skate Park is located at 8275 Spring Mountain Road at Durango Drive in Las Vegas. Tickets are available at www.extremething.com beginning Jan. 1.
