LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Workers at 13 southern Nevada locations of Bruce Scher's Goodyear received notification of the business' closure on Monday.
According to a spokesperson for the franchise, the Las Vegas area stores are closing following the death of the business' namesake.
The spokesperson said technicians were asked to stay on long enough to complete vehicles that remain in the work queue.
Employees are expected to be paid in full for this week, the spokesperson said.
Bruce Scher's Goodyear automotive repair business, which is based in Riverside, Calif., has locations throughout the Las Vegas valley.
There was no word on the total number of jobs that were being laid off as a result of the closures.
