AZ man Michael McDonald charged with 'super extreme' DUI

MOHAVE VALLEY, AZ (FOX5) -

A northwest Arizona man was charged with super extreme DUI for driving while having a blood-alcohol concentration of more than 0.20 percent.

Michael McDonald, 24, of Mohave Valley was also charged with having an empty six-pack of alcoholic bottles inside of his vehicle at the time of his arrest.

According to the Mohave County Sheriff's office, McDonald's Dodge Challenger rear-ended another vehicle about 4 p.m. on Nov. 7.

Investigating deputies noticed an odor of alcohol in McDonald's vehicle and on him.

Deputies said McDonald admitted to drinking while he was driving.

McDonald was taken to the Mohave County District Substation jail, where further test found his blood-alcohol concentration was 0.255 percent.

There were no injuries in the collision.
