Congress man accused in child molestation case

PRESCOTT, AZ (AP) -

A suspect is in custody in connection with a child molestation case in northern Arizona.

Yavapai County Sheriff's officials say 30-year-old Andrew Fuller was taken into custody Wednesday after he allegedly confessed to several sex crimes.

Authorities say the alleged incidents occurred over several months in the Congress and Bagdad areas and involved one victim under the age of 15.

Fuller is being held without bond at the Camp Verde Detention Center on suspicion of nine counts of child molestation.

Authorities say Fuller also is facing charges of theft, assault and domestic violence. He allegedly hit his 31-year-old wife during an argument and allegedly assaulted a male friend in a separate scuffle and stole prescription medications from him.

Sheriff's officials didn't immediately know Thursday if Fuller had a lawyer yet.
