A 22-year-old Las Vegas man was arrested in suspicion of shooting at security officers outside of a Strip casino.
According to Las Vegas Metro police, Joshua Olvera was charged with three counts of attempted murder with a weapon and burglary with a weapon.
Police said Olvera was seen by security officers at Circus Circus Hotel and Casino trying to break into a vehicle at the property's parking garage just before 3 a.m. Thursday.
The suspect attempted to flee on foot, shooting rounds from a handgun at three security officers, police said.
The officers did not return fire and maintained visual contact on Olvera until police arrived, Metro said.
Olvera was arrested without incident. He was booked into the Clark County Detention Center.
