Pedestrian hit by vehicle on Flamingo

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A pedestrian has been struck by a vehicle in the intersection of Flamingo Road and McLeod Drive, according to Metro police.

Police said the victim, a 25-year-old woman, was struck just after 7 p.m. on Tuesday. She was not in a crosswalk when she was hit and was taken to Sunrise Hospital in serious condition.

The intersection was shut down as police investigated.
