(Source: CBS 5 News) Investigators said they found chemicals that could be used in an explosive device in the Coolidge home of bombing suspect Abdullatif Aldosary.

A criminal complaint alleges the man suspected of bombing the Casa Grande Social Security Office was manufacturing military grade explosives.

Authorities said they found receipts for chemical materials and instructions on making explosives in his home.

Police arrested Abdullatif Aldosary, 47, of Coolidge, Friday within an hour after the 8:15 a.m. explosion.  According to court paperwork, three witnesses saw a vehicle leaving the scene of the explosion and that vehicle was traced back to Aldosary's residence.

When police arrived at his home they found Aldosary outside washing his car.  According to court documents, police believe Aldosary was washing the car to remove residue from the explosives.

A search of his home uncovered paperwork outlining what it would take to build a bomb and hide it behind a hung portrait, according to the documents.  Police also found chemicals matching the ingredients needed to build the explosives.Police also found several rounds of ammunition and a handgun.

Aldosary made his first appearance in Federal court Monday.  He stood in court and said nothing, prompting the judge to question whether or notAldosary understood the English language.

Attorneys and investigators say they are confident that he understands English because he was able to follow their directions.

He is expected to appear back in court Wednesday.
