Department store Dillard's will be an anchor business when The Shops at Summerlin opens in two years, the shopping district's developer announced on Monday.
The 106-acre complex, which be situated next to the Clark County 215 Beltway, will reserve about 200,000 square feet for Dillard's, according to developer Howard Hughes Corporation.
The open-air shopping district is slated to feature about 125 stores and restaurants, along with a nine-story office building.
Plans for Dillard's calls for it to be a two-level department store.
Earlier this year, developers announced Macy's as another anchor tenant at The Shops at Summerlin.
Howard Hughes Corporation scheduled the district's opening for fall 2014. The company expects more than 1,700 jobs to be added during construction and about 2,000 by the time it opens.
