LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Runners participated in the Zappos' Rock 'n' Roll Las Vegas Marathon on the Las Vegas Strip Sunday evening for a good cause.

More than 30,000 people from all over the world pounded the pavement to benefit the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.

Jonathan Ndambuki of Kenya won the men's championship in the marathon with a time of 2:32:24.

Nuta Olaru of Romania is the women's champion in the marathon with a time of 2:51:31.

Craig Hopkins of England was the men's champion in the half marathon with a time of 1:07:23.

Bradi Hutchison of Pocatello, Idaho, was the women's champion in the half marathon with a time of 1:19:34.
