1 dies following single-vehicle wreck

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

One person is dead following a bad car wreck at Maryland Parkway and Bonanza Road.

Metro police said that at around 9: 15 p.m. on Friday, a single vehicle struck a pole.

One passenger was extracted from the vehicle and died. Another passenger and the driver suffered injuries and were treated at UMC Trauma.

The collision remains under investigation.
