The Henderson 250 Desert Race kicks off Friday Nov. 30 at the Off-Road Expo and Tech Inspection and Contingency.

The pre-race festivities include an off-road expo, race vehicle display and vendors.

The Henderson 250 Desert Race stars Sat. Dec. 1 with the first race beginning at 6:15 a.m.

More than 150 race teams are expected to compete and when the checkered flag waves, 17 racers, representing a number of car and truck classes, will win the 2012 championship title.

The Henderson 250 track is spectator-friendly.

Along the raceway, several viewing areas are designated for fans, allowing them the opportunity to catch the full throttle action on the multi-loop course.
