LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A Las Vegas Strip property is expected to draw thousands of video gamers in a tournament this weekend.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is set to kick off the IGN Pro League IPL 5, which pits top players in games such as "StarCraft II" and "League of Legends".

The Las Vegas resort-casino hosted IPL 4 earlier this year, drawing 10,000 spectators to the event. The April event was also the first time the Cosmopolitan hosted a video gaming tourney.

The tournament will include a Global StarCraft League championship pitting all-star gamers from Korea against the world.

An opening ceremony is scheduled for Friday, with tournament playing running Saturday through Sunday.

You can seek information on the gaming tournament at http://www.ign.com/ipl/all/ipl-5.
