LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Health and well-being company Humana will donate more than 350 knitted and crocheted caps, scarves, and afghans to U.S. VETS Las Vegas.
The organization provides housing and comprehensive support to 260 veterans to help then regain independence.
The Humana Charity Crafters knitted and crocheted the gifts.
They meet weekly at the two Humana Guidance Centers: 1000 N. Green Valley Parkway in Henderson; and 8975 W. Charleston Boulevard, Las Vegas.
The knitting and crochet group is open to anyone and all materials are provided free by Humana.
These centers are open to the general public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
