The top 12 drivers from NASCAR's 2012 Sprint Cup season arrived in Las Vegas Wednesday and were greeted by thousands of fans on Fremont Street for the Fanfest event.
The event is part of NASCAR Champion's Week, which is entering its fourth straight year in Las Vegas.
"It's been a great ride the last year, the whole season really," said NASCAR champion Brad Keselowski.
"It's great to see the fans support this and show up here and enjoy this," said Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Drivers walked a red carpet, signed autographs and ended up playing a game show on the Third Street stage.
Drivers were paired with fifth graders from Lomie Heard Elementary to answer quiz questions.
Comedy ensued when, after asked to name two fruits with one seed inside, Jimmie Johnson answered "cantaloupe."
Keselowski, Tony Stewart and student Maria won the contest.
Champion's Week events continue through Friday.
