On Wednesday, the top 12 drivers of NASCAR's 2012 season showed up to a crowd of thousands on Fremont Street for the annual Fanfest event as part of NASCAR Champion's Week.
This is the fourth consecutive year Champion's Week has been held in Las Vegas.
Spectators started arriving four hours before the event began to snag the best spots for autographs.
Drivers, including 2012 Sprint Cup Champion Brad Keselowski, walked along a red carpet, signed autographs and took pictures with fans before ending up on the Third Street stage.
"It's been a great ride the last year, the whole season really," said Keselowski when asked about the event.
"It's great to see the fans support this and show up here and enjoy this," added Dale Earnhardt Jr.
The drivers participated in a game show, paired with fifth-graders from Lomie Hurd Elementary.
Keselowski and Tony Stewart won the event with the help of their student partner, Maria.
Comedy ensued when Jimmie Johnson answered the question, "Name two fruits that have one seed inside," with "cantelope."
Champion's Week continues through Friday. A list of events can be found here.
