LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The Fremont Street Experience unveiled plans Tuesday for an attraction called SlotZilla.

It's part zip line, part amusement park ride that runs 1,700 feet above the crowds.

The most unusual part of the $11 million project is it's a double decker and if you're on top, you will be shot out of a humongous slot machine.

"This is uniquely and unmistakably Las Vegas," said Jeff Victor, president of the Fremont Street Experience. "The lower level takes off at about 70 feet and you fly as you typically do on a zip line, where you're hanging. But on the top you go off at 100-plus feet and you fly like a super hero in the prone position and rather than just let you out of the door, we shoot you out of the door. It's the first time it's ever been done."

The idea is creating a buzz, which fits right in with the redevelopment and re-imaging of downtown.

"It is gonna draw people from around the world," said Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman. "They're gonna hear about this.  We do everything above and beyond. We reinvent, we create. We do things that everybody said 'no, it's impossible you can't do that'. We do it. And that's why people love to come to Las Vegas."

Construction will begin just after the new year and the attraction is expected to open in June.

SlotZilla will cost $20 for the lower level, $30 to be shot out of SlotZilla on the upper level or you can do both for $40.

The ride will offer advanced ticket sales and reservations.
