Metro: Bag found downtown may have contained explosives

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

According to Metro police, a bag that may have contained some sort of explosives was discovered on Monday night just after 9 p.m. on N. 15th Street near Ogden Avenue in downtown Las Vegas.

The discovery was made by a security officer who flagged down a Metro officer. An armor team disposed of the materials.

The incident and exactly what was in the bag remain under investigation.
