Firefighters battle apartment fire in northwest Vegas

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Las Vegas Fire and Rescue responded to an apartment fire on N. Tenaya Way near W. Lake Mead Boulevard just before 1 p.m. on Tuesday.

Smoke could be seen billowing from a second story apartment. One victim was rescued from the building.

Firefighters said the fire was started by a candle on a dresser. One victim was treated for smoke inhalation. The fire was put out just before 1 p.m.
