Police investigating shooting near downtown Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Metro police are investigating a shooting on Cleveland Avenue near West Sahara Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard.

Police said a male victim was shot in the hand and face just before 11:50 on Tuesday morning. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still unknown. Stay with FOX5 for updates on this developing story.
