Posted: Updated:

Metro police are hoping someone will come forward with information which will lead to the identity of a body discovered back on November 8.

Police said the body of a woman between 45 and 55 years old was discovered in an alleyway near the intersection of 10 Street and Stewart Avenue in downtown Las Vegas just before 7:30 p.m.

The woman was about 5'6" with a medium to heavy build, red hair and a scar on her left shoulder.

Police said new evidence suggests the body was placed in the downtown Las Vegas alleyway sometime between 1 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.

Police are asking anyone who was in the area on that day or who has information on the woman to come forward and contact the Metro Homicide section at (702)-828-3521 or Crime Stoppers at (702)-385-5555. You may also leave information online at www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
