NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -
Police officers will be seeking seat belt and child restraint violators in North Las Vegas on Sunday.
The police department said a day-long enforcement event is scheduled to enforce seat belt restraint laws.
The event is part of a nationwide "Joining Forces" campaign, which was made possible by a grant from the Nevada Office of Traffic Safety, NLVPD said.
The enforcement period begins at 6 a.m. and runs through 4 p.m.
