Orleans Arena set to host Las Vegas Invitational

Orleans Arena is set to host the 12th running of the Las Vegas Invitational college basketball tournament beginning on Friday.

Teams from the Big 10, Southeastern Conference and Pac-12 are represented in the eight-team field.

This tournament was won in stunning fashion last year by University of Nevada, Las Vegas, which beat top-ranked University of North Carolina in the championship game.

Teams in the tournament include:

• University of Wisconsin;
• Creighton University;
• University of Arkansas;
• Arizona State University;
• Florida A&M University;
• Cornell University;
• Longwood University;
• Presbyterian College.

According to the tournament, each team will play four games, the first two at campus sites and the final two in Las Vegas.
