HENDERSON, NV (FOX5) -

Administrators for a southern Nevada nonprofit organization said its office was burglarized of computer equipment, donated food and gift cards.

The Henderson facility of Hope Link of Southern Nevada was broken into some time early Wednesday morning, the organization's executive director said.

According to Karen Kyger of Hope Link, donated food and gift cards valued between $10,000 and $20,000 were taken in the incident.

Kyger also noted three laptop computers were missing during the ransacking.

Hope Link, which operates on Westminster Way, near Major Avenue and Burkholder Boulevard, provides free assistance to the homeless, as well as domestic violence victims, to those in the south end of the Las Vegas valley.

Henderson police were investigating the scene Wednesday for clues.

Hope Link said the organization does not have money to recover the missing items and repair damaged parts of the office, including its broken security doors.

The organization is looking to the community for cash donations. If you would you like to help Hope Link, you can visit www.link2hope.org or call 702-566-0576.
