GLENDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

Glendale City Council members have agreed to move forward to a formal vote on whether or not to accept a reworked arena lease deal with potential Phoenix Coyotes owner Greg Jamison.

The formal vote will come at Tuesday night's council meeting.

The city had previously agreed to a deal but then backed out because of the NHL lockout and the loss of revenue from the Coyotes.

The proposed agreement calls for the city to pay Jamison an average of 15 million more than 20 years for arena agreement.

Now Mayor Elaine Scruggs is fighting the deal, saying she doesn't think the numbers in the deal add up to a positive situation for Glendale.
