If you can bear to part with it, the Las Vegas Wranglers are asking you bring a new or gently used teddy bear to the team's home game with the Orlando Solar Bears on Saturday, Dec. 1.
For the 10th consecutive year, fans will shower the team with teddy bears as soon as they score a goal. The bears will be collected and donated to Sunrise Acres Elementary School in Las Vegas.
Cricket Wireless stores across the valley will have donation boxes set up to collect teddy bears ahead of the game. Fans who drop off a stuffed toy will receive a voucher good for a $6 ticket to upcoming Wranglers games.
The Wranglers will return from a road trip to open a two-game series with the Solar Bears on Nov. 30.
