Flight attendants with Spirit Airlines are slated to picket in front of McCarran Airport beginning Monday, as part of a nationwide demonstration over contract issues.
The workers, who are represented by the Association of Flight Attendants, said ongoing contract talks are at an impasse.
The picket, they said, is happening during the busiest travel week of the year. The union said about 24 million passengers are expected to take to the air this week for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Spirit has risen to the fifth largest carrier at the Las Vegas international airport, according to September numbers released by the county.
The picket is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., each day on Nov. 19-21, in front of the ticketing area at Terminal 1, according to the union.
