LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Hundreds are expected to turn out for the third and final Clark County surplus auction of the year. If the first two auctions are any indication, there will be a good turnout.

"We returned $1.8 million to various county and government agencies that participate in the auction," said David Johnson with Clark County.

There are more than 280 vehicles ranging from police cars to fire trucks to ambulances and fleet vehicles available. But there are also high-end vehicles that people can bid on including a BMW, Mercedes and a Mustang.

"Those are seizure vehicles that we get in, and it's time to dispose of them through public auction," said Johnson.

Barbara Largent came to the auction site to check out some of the police Harleys that are for sale for her husband.

"He really wants a motorcycle, so that's why I'm here," she said.

Michael Winger, who has been to other auctions, liked what he saw Friday.

"I'm thinking of buying a car tomorrow," he said.

There are more than just vehicles for sale. Items left behind by passengers at McCarran Airport range from iPads to cameras, computers and jewelry.

"We never have a problem selling anything. Everything on this site will sell by the end of the day tomorrow," said Johnson.

The auction at Flamingo Road and Stephanie Street in Las Vegas begins at 8 a.m.
