Leaders & Legends Gala benefiting the Animal Rescue Foundation

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Tony La Russa's Inaugural Leaders & Legends Gala is attracting an all-star line up of celebrities.

George Lopez, Knight, and Mia Hamm are among several people confirmed to attend the red carpet event Friday at the MGM Grand.

The event benefits La Russa's Animal Rescue Foundation and includes two days of "locker room sessions" a poker tournament, a cocktail reception, and a concert by The Eagles.

The Animal Rescue Foundation works to save dogs and cats who have run out of time at public shelters.
